  • Guess the demogogers didn't look at the rest of the story. Job participation fell another 0.2%. The number of people actually working falls - the denominator gets smaller - and yep mathematically unemployment is down.

  • This is the 3rd month where they claim the unemployment number is dropping but more people have stopped looking or gone past their unemployment coverage than found jobs! This means there are way more people that have been unemployed for more than 99 weeks that just aren't counted.
